The Chinese company China Gezhouba Group Corporation(CGGC) has started construction of athermal power plant (TPP)with a capacity of 1.5 GW in the Syrdarya regionworth about $1 billion. The new TPP with two 1.5 GW classH/J combined-cycle plants (CCGTs)will generate up to 10 billion kWh ofelectricity per year.
The central and tallest tower of the complex consists of 51 floors and includes residentialapartments, offices, restaurants, sports areas and other public spaces. In the adjacentbuildings of the complex there are office premises and a five-star hotel "The Ritz-Carlton". Thetotal area of the project is 187.284 sq.m. The total area of the land plot is 14.779 sq.m.The project budget is 150 million US dollars. Once built, Nest One will be the first skyscraperand the tallest building in Uzbekistan, and the second tallest building in Central Asia, afterthe Abu Dhabi Plaza complex.

This enterprise, with a project cost of 250 million US dollars, will produce3 different typesof cement products using machinery and equipment made in China. In addition, the annual capacityof the enterprise, built on an area of40 hectares at the expenseof foreign investment, is2-2.5 million tons. The export capacity is 10 million US dollars and will be directed toEuropean countries. As a result, 1,000 new jobs will be created at the enterprise.
